Really quick

We are off to visit a public school. Classesa re good and the trip to mexico city was fabulous.... pictures soon, and i cant figure out the punctuation on this keyboard so it might look really funny. smooches

AND WERE OFF

12 hours before I have to be at the airport and i still havn't packed. Today was pretty sad, it was my last day at work, next year I will have a new position at a new school the consolation prize is that I have an office , well kinda......... It's really a large closet sandwiched between the English and Social Studies departments....... Actually, I am really excited about the move, just sad that I am leaving the Mountain where I have made so many friends. I am really anxious to make a difference at Wheeler though and everyone there has made me feel like family as well. Anyway, I digress, I am off to make copies of my passport and credit cards. Hopefully there will be a computer at the hotel that I can talk to you all from~ the first weekend i will be in Mexico City and classes start in Guadalajara on Monday. More to come

You have got to be kidding

I have had a really bad cold or sinus infection for the last two days.......... I really hope that I feel better soon because I don't plan to get on the airplane feeling this way. I have never been this sick before, my head is killing me, my whole body aches. I went to Walmart today and found almost everything that I need, including the biodegradeable toilet tissue. That still makes me giggle a little. Also, picked up some seat protectors;) More to come

Count Down

Okay so I am exactly two weeks away from my trip. Yesterday I made a list of all things that I thought I might need. I really love food and have a fear of being without it so, I wrote all of the food items that I thought I might like down on the list and forgot my toothbrush LOL! My room mate suggested that I take biodegradeable toilet tissue because on some of the day trips we have to pay for toilet tissue.... The nerve. Lets think about it though. I will definately not be shaking hands with folks cause toilet tissue is optional in this place yuck@@@@@ More to come......

Hi my sweets, As many of you know, I will be heading off to Guadalajara, Mexico in 17 days . I thought it might be nice to set up this blog so that I can communicate with everyone back home. NOw granted, it will only be for a month ~ but lots can happen in a month afterall. SOme of you may remember when I traveled to Costa Rica a few years ago....... LEt's say that I am a little wiser now, so there won't be any of that traipsying off by myself stuff this time around. My mom will be happy to know that this will be a structured and organized trip.
